FORCE adopts a unique P-4 Model – a‘4 WAY PARTNERSHIP’ approach. This approach is based on the belief that a water crisis will impact all sectors and hence lasting solutions to overcome it can only emerge if all sectors work in co-operation with each other. Instead of playing Blame Games, we need to create strategies that help each sector realize its potential without compromising the water needs of other sectors.

4-p-partnership-model

Using this P-4 model, we partner with government and local leaders, communities, corporate and technical experts to offer end-to-end support to citizen groups interested in adopting water conservation practices. From research studies/seminars to creating awareness/interest and finally implementation, FORCE uses this model to empower communities and to cover the entire spectrum of activities related to water conservation. We also share our learning with relevant government departments so that they can be used to make existing water policies more people and water friendly.

With the P-4 model, in community water conservation efforts, FORCE follows the AIDA approach (Awareness Interest Desire Action) to graduate communities from awareness to implementing Water Conservation measures in their areas.

As a part of a DRDO sponsored project, we have recommended a plan for sustainable self sufficiency in water for an Air Force Station in Delhi. We have organized national seminars, workshops with key water experts as speakers. We have also submitted policy recommendations on water management to the Delhi government, some of which have been accepted and implemented. Using customized programs, we have created a strong network of Residents Welfare Associations and corporate that are actively propagating water conservation and recharge measures.

We believe that new technology, traditional wisdom and people’s participation hold the key to resolving water management problems. And creating ‘WATER WISE citizens’
