Existing Rainwater Harvesting practices and plant / unit’s role
The school has already done rainwater harvesting in its area. 2 Rain Water Storage tanks are already present in St. Mary’s Convent School, Ghaziabad. Rainwater is directly stored in these tanks which is then used for gardening.
The Rainwater Harvesting structures recommended in this project have been made keeping in mind the capacity of the existing rain water storage tanks.
